Blake’s vintage Sekai Rain bike. When he first got into cycling Blake rode this classic in the STP. Since then he has upgraded to a modern road bike (check out Blake’s Masi Ezoluzione here), and continues to commute and participate in various rides around the Pacific Northwest. This winter Blake decided to pull the Sekai out of retirement. We updated it with Suntour bar-end shifters and some aero-style brake levers. It has good clearance for full fenders and makes a very practical Seattle rain bike. If you are going to live and ride in the Emerald City you really should have a dedicated full fendered bike. I guess it doesn’t hurt if it happens to be a classic that is also easy on the eyes…
